Operations and Maintenance

Hydro Tech Pak (Pvt.) Ltd. has highly qualified and well experienced manpower, recruited from Pakistan WAPDA and Malakand-III HPP Construction Companies. They are all from various disciplines like Mechanical, Electrical, Protection, Instrumentation, SCADA, DCS, Network and Civil/Structural, having rich expertise in Erection, Testing, Commissioning, Operation and Maintenance of Power Projects.

All technical & support services were provided to the Client. More than two (200) hundred well experienced engineers & technical / support staff were deployed in the power complex, for smooth, efficient & round the clock operation & maintenance of the complex. Most effective dealings were done with the power purchaser i.e. NTDC/WAPDA for power purchase agreement & energy payment invoices & NEPRA for tariff determination & indexation matters & other stake holders, on behalf of the Client. Initial term of Operation & Maintenance contract period were five (05) years, which was later extended for three (03) more years in 2012.

Hydro Tech has successfully  Operated and Maintained Malakand-III Hydro  Power Complex, earning thereby nearly Rs. 18 Billion for Provincial Exchequer on account of Energy Generated/Dispatched till 31^st August, 2015. No Penalty imposition by the power purchaser during the entire contract period of 8 years, itself speaks of Hydro Tech’s Performance.

Based on our successful working at Malakand–III Hydro Power Complex, Pakhtunkhwa Energy Development Organization (PEDO) Formerly known as Sarhad Hydel Development Organization (SHYDO) Govt. of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa awarded us the contract regarding manpower for Operation & Maintenance of 1.87 MW Shishi Hydro Power Station, at Drosh, Chitral. Contractual O&M services rendered from October, 2009 to October 2013.
